Certain mods they won't blink an eye at (CAI, Intercooler/Charge Pipes, Exhausts, catch cans), others like tunes and big turbos, they might.

Really, find the service manager and pose the hypothetical "How would you feel if I modded this", see how they react. (My dealer says just unflash it)

Remember though, this is a Ford at the end of the day, not a Range Rover, they expect mods

It really depends on what you do with it and whether you are going to have problems. Most of the things I will replace are considered wear items anyway. Anything to do with the suspension and axles will be marked up as normal wear and tear unless there is an obvious defect from the factory. Most aftermarket suppliers cover their products as well or better than Ford.

I am in the why wait category. I'm buying it to use now, not 5 years from now. I'm really not worried about voiding the warranty for the uses I plan on. I'm willing to take the risk.
