I thought order date only really mattered if you were trying to get in the first or second batch of production for MY21. The real decider is reservation date and dealer allocation/reservation dynamic.

I have checked with other dealers. I expect no discounts at all. The problem is finding someone locally who will sell at MSRP. I am WILDTRAK or bust. The search for a dealer who will honor MSRP once the vehicle arrives is on, but how many posts have we all seen to the contrary? I am on the way to a sizable dealership right now to talk shop. And maybe you laugh at me because I am not in the early reservation club, but I find your complacency humorous. You can't lean on a shovel and expect a hole to appear...

I'm in a similar boat but somewhere in the 400s with Granger. After you deduct the 100 vehicles this year and the 200 or so in 2022, I figure that I'll get a 2023 model unless I get lucky and my order is pulled early. I debated going elsewhere but I would be looking at roughly a year plus anyway, so why bother. From what I can tell, the ADM after-delivery stories are not the norm. People are more likely to post their horror stories than their positive dealer stories. My advice is either accept your place in line and wait patiently, move your reservation if FMC will allow it, or place a new order with a dealer that will commit to MSRP.

"According to the dealer" I cannot move my order. I would have to cancel and start all over, reservation or not. Adding 10k to the sticker is normal and wanting MSRP price is pretty much impossible. The same old crap. But they do have a really nice USED First Edition with only a couple hundred miles if anyone is interested...

Price $110,000.00

You ordered in July of this year? 🤣 Yeah there are many ahead of you waiting way longer with still no build date... Hurry up and wait.
Meanwhile a buddy of mine ordered one week ago today (12/15) no reservation for a Badlands Sasquatch with Lux and the 2.7. Got a build date and VIN already.

I was in the #800's at Granger but realized what was going on with this rollout shit show. Mind you not Granger's fault. So basically if you want any chance to have a Bronco at Granger at your place in line is go down trim levels, soft top and keep the build simple. I went from Badlands to Black Diamond and got picked up. If you want to stick to your build you need to order elsewhere.
I am in the 260s (reserved 7/27/2000 but didn't order until 11/9/2021) at Granger and just switched yesterday from OBX 2 door to OBX 4 door soft with high package. No tow or squatch. Just curious how quickly your order was picked up after you made the change. thx

The Bronco vehice itself is nice. But it all went in the dumps for me, with the early reservation scheme, delays (especially for 2-doors) and ADMs. Ford prioritized a certain type of customer, and that customer clearly was not me.

I suspect come summer of 2022, we'll see a lot of Bronco pavement crawlers. People can do (or not do) what they choose with their own vehicles. But for my part, no way I'll still be sitting in line behind them waiting. Instead looks like I'll be off-road, having a great time and adventures in some other 4x4.

After a conversation with my dealer (Granger), I was told I was number 798 in line of an allocation of 200 Broncos for 2022. They even suggested I move my order to another dealer or change my order to a bare bones unit. Not acceptable. I have looked all around my state and talked to many other dealers. Why would I jump to the back of the line? Not to mention the bullsh*t ADMs and other nefarious dealer scams I have encountered. I am very seriously considering taking my 60k and putting it into my 89 EB Bronco, and have money đź’° to spare.

Go to several dealers in your area and place orders for what you want. It doesn't cost anything to place an order. It's worth a shot.

Sounds like you should be more mad at @Ford Motor Company than anyone here — they’re the ones that made the conscious decision to hurt Granger and Stephen’s more than other dealers on Bronco allocations.
