Anything is possible but they pretty well crapped all over the Blazer and I’m kinda expecting this to just be the GM rebadge of that again.

The renderings don’t look far enough away from a Tahoe to really leave me thinking they are credible.
This.

They blew it big time with Blazer. What a wasted opportunity.

GM needs to bring back the 2-door Tahoe / Yukon. I had one in High School and loved it! The new body styles just look awful... I think 2006 is the last year GM SUVs looked good.

They’ll never give me a 2 door, which means I won’t replace a Bronco with it…

i’d love to find a not shitbox 2 door Tahoe and make that a project, but everyone here is rusted, crammed full of speakers or both :/

Looks like an Equinox with off road tires... Just another SUV... 🥱
Perhaps to the untrained eye...but that's a solid rear axle and a frame under it, not just another unibody crossover.

I still think they'll botch the launch and end up making it terrible, but if they stuck with these renderings and actually kept it body-on-frame...well I still wouldn't buy one because I am DONE with GM, but it would still be a sharp vehicle.

When I am at the gas station no one ask about my 24 Eruption green badlands but if I’m out in my 86 bone stock tintop it’s hard to get away without a compliment.

Probably just the color then, what's the color of your 86?

Hell, I can't even tell the difference between all these SUV/Crossover/Minivan/Station Wagon transportation appliance blobs across different brands.
I was sitting behind a Sportage and a Forester yesterday at a light. They looked pretty darned similar, and was thinking how they used to look so different from each other.

In biology they call this convergent evolution. In cars, it's just another kind of enshittification.

That's from too much "crossing over". Now, they are all various shades of gray or white in color (some with white stripes or patches) and identical in appearance, with various recessive and dominant genetic differences.

A “real” Jimmy is full-size.
My mom had one of the little ones from 1984. It had the wimpy 2.8l V6 and a 5 speed manual transmission. It only lasted a few years when she traded it in for a GMC Sierra 1500 regular cab short bed 4x4 pickup.
