When stowed, how far do they hang down below the pinch weld? i.e. how much clearance is lost?

Thanks, I understand they cover the pinch weld, I was asking how far do they hang below it when stowed. " i.e how much clearance is lost?"

We don't have a Bronco equipped with these in shop currently, but it should be around 2-3" below as it is a 6" wide board.

These look like the Rough Country version I have and they are great. If you dont need rock sliders, these are a good option. They hide the pinch welds. They tuck up nice underneath, but I dont know about clearance loss.

BUYER BEWARE!

I had these installed on my 2023 Wildtrack back in March. I was excited as they looked great and were less money than AMP ones, which I have on my F450.

The first week or so was fine. however after that they began sounding "clunky" (see video).

I called Rhino 7 times asking for tech support and finally got a call back. He said loosen the steps and retighten them. Had the installer company do that. Didn't help. The installer called Rhino and they couldn't figure out a solution so they sent a replacement.

Turned out that the replacement didn't have the correct pins on one of the hinges (too small) and he had to buy new pins of the correct diameter.

Bottom line is they are still on the vehicle, still noisy, but its so bad now that you can actually feel them opening and closing, like a clunk from someone slamming the rear tail gate window.

So, thats my story. By the way, the installer put a set on another Bronco and the same thing. Interesting enough, you can barely hear the AMP ones on my truck.

At this point I don't know what to do. Perhaps the new ones are fixed?!

? Hmm.. My Big rolling power steps did that on my F-150 when I had it. Honestly, that would not bother me. Maybe an adjustment on the motor and where it stops would help?

I have these too and love them. The noise doesn't bother me, I didn't know other brands were silent.

Other brands are not silent. My Amp smart series steps clunk louder than the video posted.
