Has anyone with a 4 door purchased running boards yet. Have been thinking about power running boards and was wondering if anyone had any recommendations?

Install sucks to do alone so make sure you find a YouTube video that goes over the process.

i got the factory running boards on our 4 door big bend.

I think they look great and set off the side of the Bronco. you cant do mud flaps on the front if you do running boards.

Couple posts I have seen is that the lower body trim above where the step rail is is not painted. Mine is painted body color so not sure where this comment is coming from.

Only issue I have is that water and sand pool up on them. Be nice if they had a small drain hole or something

Might be able to see the running boards in this picture. If not I can get a better picture and post later

I did an 8 out of 10 trail today and my ##^%# steps caught on every rock in sight (Ranger Tremor). If you’re gonna go off-road, get the steps that tuck in or at least sit even with the vehicle body/slider.

Seriously. I only lose 1-2” of clearance with the steps and they are TERRIBLE. Don’t do it. If you do, just take your skids plates off and chuck em right in the fuckit bucket because you won’t need em with your steps grabbing everything first.

That's why I'm looking at the DSS ones, they don't go as low.

I have the GoRhino one's too. They stick out just far enough and don't drop lower like the one above

Are those the Extreme DS? What do you think of them acting as a step?

yea they are the DS. They act perfectly fine as a step. I didn't want something that sticks out super far, but far enough to catch someones door if they open their door into my bronco. I think the one's that stick out far look obnoxious sometimes so these were perfect. I just use the grab handle and step on the steps. My gf is 5'2" and is happy I installed them.

Thanks for the feedback on the step height. I really don't want to compromise my ground clearance too much. I'm probably going for the Extreme DSS

Can you give us some more shots of the Bronco with step? I'd like to see how it looks with the overall...I like what I'm seeing so far. Thanks.

I like it. Considering the DS or the DSS. Those fit the bill.
