Stock SASQ Bilstein shocks with Stock SASQ 35" Goodyears
Right…So I will be running 37s and ICON or OME lift which might be 1-2” higher (total 2-3”). What is your garage height? My door header is 96” but the door dips down another 6”, so my clearance is 90”

Now I'm running Eibach Pro-Truck Coilovers with the stock 35". I gained a little over 2" of lift over the Stock Bilstein. It still fits but it's really close. Door is 84"

Is this correct? Once your door is fully retracted it’s lower than door header/seal?

It's deceptive in this photo. They are basically even. Center of the door is maybe 1/2" lower than the header

Gotit…Ok thanks…I learned today that my G-door opener (side mount) and original track design are not made for each other and that is why my door lifts less than the header height. I will get new tracks installed and should be closer to 95” or so when done. New tracks help door motion as well, so not a total waste of money for 5”

Think you can just replace the curved part of the tracks to a wider radius to increase height.

I have a double track but a side mount opener and this is wrong combo. Double track is for ceiling clearance constraints of which I don’t have. I’ll bite the bullit and get new tracks.

96” opening and a side mounted opener now I’m jealous.

When you get a chance can you measure the blue items? I want to see if a hard shell RTT would fit on the side bars w/o having to rise above the most forward window bar….And how much will stick out on either side.

RTT I’m looking at is FreeSpirit Evolution

Thanks

Thank you…

So this tent would overhang each side by 5” and at least 2”+ over the back end. Not horrible but would just fit. Definitely makes the side rails unusable for attachments with the tent overhang. The cool thing about this hard shell tent is it has grooves all around the perimeter to attach things like awnings, etc…

Pics attached are the narrower tent (49”) but length is same. Not mounted to GOBI, but you get the idea. The tent would have to shift AFT for the GOBI front bar. This guy regretted buying the 49 and will upgrade to 55

I bought the Gobi rack early on because IMO, it is the best option for a soft top. I don't know if I'm going to add a tent yet, I just wanted more cargo capacity. That FreeSpirit tent looks really cool!

My non-sasquatch Badlands just barely fits in through the garage door with Gobi rack on. My garage is tall (14 ft to the rafters) and I am seriously considering adding a 5th panel to my garage door to make it ~9 ft tall. I would have to remove some siding and extend the framing and raise the header but its doable, stay tuned...

I’d do same if I had more room but my house eave would limit upward growth. I might be able to gain 6” but that would just be 8’6” as my current header is 8’. Not sure worth the effort but always looking for DIY

@GOBI Racks Can you share pics of your 4dr with GOBI and hard shell tent and what are the dimensions of the RTT footprint? Does your tent sit above the most front window upper bar or just behind/below? If sits above this bar, why? How much does the tent overhand the GOBI rails on sides and what is this dimension of the tent? What is the distance from ground to top of closed RTT? Does your Bronco have a lift and bigger tires beyond Sasquatch?

Thanks
