Saw a new clip was dropped on Friday and looks like they are hoping to get the computer for it in the next few weeks.

A nice push rod 302 ( that’s a 5.0 to you younger cats)would have sufficed nicely. Not looking for quarter mile heroics, just decades of good old Henry V8 reliability.

I drive a 2024 tremor with 7.3 now. A bronco with the stock 7.3 will be nuts. I put mine in eco mode to increase the pedal travel. Otherwise it snaps my head, in a 7000 lb truck. It would be hard to keep the tires from breaking loose in a bronco.

That is what has been on my mind. A nice little 302 with some tuned heads and efi system and get direct throttle response. Annoys me so, when the "computer" decides how much throttle I need. Might even help solve the low alternator problem too. :)
So much room left over in that engine bay.

I know this is blasphemy, but I’d do an LS. Bulletproof.

My company truck (base model F250) has one and it's not underpowered but I don't find it terribly impressive either. I hate the 10 speed in it so much though.

I love the 10 speed. It shifts smoother than any transmission I’ve ever had. My tremor has a 4.30, that might affect it.

Hmm, mine is super clunky. It races to 8th and tries to stay there most of the time, then it drops gears fast at stoplights and pushes through the brakes. I'm not sure what gears I have, probably 3.55 or so.

It doesn't have to have a 10 speed...my RV has one and it has a 6 speed auto behind it. The 7.3L is a good engine. I haven't weighed it but I'm somewhere around 14-15k with my toad hitched up and that is light for some of the chassis' using the 7.3L.

Sounds exactly like my F150, with the A10 and 3.55 axle. Especially the pushing through the brakes part, which is aggravating. It's like the thing is impossible to drive smoothly.
