Has anyone measured the rear loading height (floor) on any of the models?

I know a couple folks here are handicapped. I'm struggling with choosing the right model for me. I originally wanted the BL, but that might be too high for me to get into. I also need to figure out where to store my walker and or scooter. My CMax has perfect storage space.. I've been hell-bent on a 2 door, but it may not have enough room. I'm looking at BD. It's a little lower than BL, but is it low enough? OBX has a step, but I'm not sure I could use it. My legs are shot... This would suck if I end up with a Sport.

What are you folks getting?
For lowest step in height and accessibility it has to be a 4 door Base, BB, or OB.

I’m hoping the grab handle is in a good location for getting in.
Also, I’m willing to bet there will be some good aftermarket electric steps that come down a little lower

BD has shorter tires than BB or OBX. I'm worried about the loading height of the rear floor. My 08 Explorer with 30's is just about my height limit for loading my scooter.

What exactly is the as-measuered loading height of your 08 Explorer that you are hoping to replicate.

I haven't measured it yet. I'll need to do that soon. I realized yesterday that I can barely get my scooter in my Explorer and the Bronco would most likely be taller.

I am not in your situation but have you considered a hitch mounted carrier for your scooter? I have seen plenty of vehicles of all types with a scooter carried this way.

Yes, I have thought about that and I think that might be my only option.

Just a quick update. I was able to get into a non-sas OBX today. Wasn't easy-peasy, but doable. The running board actually didn't help. I think the BD I ordered will be easier.

I will be getting an OBX in this color, but my accessibility question is different. I am a right leg amputee, and drive with a left foot accelerator pedal. Did you notice how much space (assuming it was an automatic) between the brake and left side of the foot well? I am assuming since a manual is an option, there would be enough room when there is no clutch, but haven't been able to get down and check one out myself yet.

Unfortunately I didn't notice the pedal spacing.
