Would this be the same for turn signals and parking lights? Because I Installed an Aeroskin Lightshield on a friends ‘22 Wildtrak. Per the instructions, using the connectors, tapped the wires to each side turn, and one to parking, one to ground, in the headlight harness. Worked perfectly.

can only speak to parking lights, thats hooked up to my switchpros to dim the panel. works properly and without issue.

That will help some with a running light style at night but that doesn’t make a headlight high beam trigger or even a turn signal light, that is a start tho.

High Beam is controlled by LIN BUS. No voltage available at the headlight connector. If you're trying to run something off the high-beam, it's not possible.

by chance do you know if the DRL circuit is controlled by LIN BUS as well? Wanted to tie the DRL side of my RC light bar into the DRL circuit, but when testing did not get any power out of that pin. Not sure how bright it will be at night so don’t know if I want it on with the parking lights.

DRL is not LIN controlled. Pin 8 turns on with IGN and times out after a few min when the truck is turned off, though.

That’s what I thought but just tested it this afternoon with left headlight removed, truck running in neutral parking brake released (wheels chocked of course). The right DRL was in but the left side pin 7 (DRL) was cold. Pin 8 was hot in all settings of the headlight switch so assumed it was power for all BUS controlled functions. Pin 9 was hot when parking lights were turned on. Specialty performance harness is wired to pin9 so that’s the easy option for tapping into the running lights but was hoping to find a hot wire just on the DRL and simply move the tap to that pin. stupid computerized vehicles lol

Current diagram does not show raptor specific or different option. Would need a raptor VIN to verify but here's what the book shows for '23 model year.

I know some people have had issues with codes and what not trying to install aftermarket headlights on Braptors.

Should be the same. Why they figured lighting had to be on the network is beyond me.

This is what another member is saying happened when they installed AlphaRex lamps. The halo didn't blink with the turning (only the bar did).

The codes won't show in regular code readers. But it's in there with forscan etc.

Custom Auto Works can add the turn signal wire to the connector just give them a call
