Help translating ford chat message on my order

I have an order in for a 2dr Sasquatch big bend. Put it in on 3/2723 and I’ve heard nothing from ford and dealer knows nothing. I just chatted with cord and I was told

“I do see your order is submitted into our ordering system. Great news it will be scheduled in the next available “

When I asked when that production week would be I was told “the production date isn’t available yet”.

Since broncos are being regularly scheduled and shipped, is this a round about way of Ford saying “your 2dr is not going to get built this year”?

Kind of what I thought it meant. I figured the 2dr would be an issue. Ordered a 4dr on the same day and its on a train heading my way, guess I will just cancel the 2rd order.

Who knows? I can tell you without a doubt, the dealer has the ability by simply going on their computer system and see how Ford has applied a status to your order. The way it worked for me was it goes from unscheduled to “ preview”. This means they are sizing up your order to see if the components are or will be available to build . If so, then it will be scheduled. Again, the dealer with the scroll of a mouse can look to see the current status. When mine was both previewed and then scheduled they ” showed” me the info on Fords system. The initial schedule build week for my 2D BL was actually moved “ up” three weeks. Built on time per the new date and in my garage seven days later. The dealer has the ability to provide the latest info.

Even if you cancel your order, it will still be built and sent to the dealer, they'll put it on the lot with a markup...hang on to the order, decide what to do with it when it comes in.

Yeah i was a 2020 july resv..and didnt get it finally till this year..but i wasnt in any hurry..all in all i was a code 99 or what ever that code was to not build yet till mid 2022 lol..i never knew it till the end when a cool salesperson said he would find out for me and told me this info soooo someone knows for sure like this guy says..
