Ok so I am really struggling hoping you all can help. I am stuck between OBX 4 door, mod hard top, high package, leather trimmed seats, 2.7L and 4.27 OR Black Diamond, 4 door, sasquatch, 2.7, mod hard top, mid package

I would love to have OBX and sasquatch but cant afford all of that.

Someone help me make my decision PLEASE

Do you want sasquatch for looks or capability? If it's for the lockers/4.7's then go BD. If it's for looks, go with the OBX, save some extra cash, then buy yourself a small lift and bigger tires/wheels of your choosing. You can always add lift/tires later. You can't exactly add a high pack and 2.7.

BD Sasquatch if you plan on any serious off-roading. Don't get the Sasquatch for looks if it will be your DD and you don't really plan to take it anywhere challenging.

To me, it seems you're comparing more luxury versus more badassery. With those options I'd go with squatch BD. I'm personally stuck between 7MT BL or Squatched BD. I'm leaning toward the BL, and then self squatching, cause I'm having a hard time giving up the 7MT.

I agree, but not just for washout capability. It looks great and people say it feels great.

Your conundrum is high package and stock tires or mid package with 35s. I think if you don't need everything in the high package, you are going to enjoy walking out to a Bronco on 35s more than a stock looking OBX.

It will be my daily driver but I like the look of the sasquatch
Unless you plan on getting the OBX and putting 33's (285's) on it almost immediately, I say go with the BD Squatch. You say right there you like the look of the Squatch, seems to be a top selling point. If you didn't need MGV or Leather, I'd say opt for a Big Bend Squatch, save a couple extra bucks.

If you do decide on the OBX (non-Squatch), at least upgrade to the 4.27 rear locker. You'll benefit down the road if you do decide to go with larger tires.

What sort of off-roading will you be doing? Think of the type of trails you will explore, amount of gear and passengers. That will help decide what you need based on the real functionality.

I'd say since you like the 'look' of squatch and the MGV of the BD, I'd suggest BD and bump up your tire size a bit when you want....then you get the best of both without the cost of squatching. Note, you can't have the High package in BD, so if there's something in there....but for the beach, that MGV and washout floors...oh yea.

So all of that sounds clear as mud doesn’t it? If beach is your primary use (depending on how often) I would say bd is the way to go especially with the mgv and washout. If their was something specific from obx maybe you can add it and the incremental difference should be minimal.

sounds like BD is good with MGV and washout for the beach, it's a really good trim for the price
but you won't get the Signature lights and High package

if those are must have's then suggest OBX, perhaps with cloth, and you can always upgrade with Katzkins and wheels as it suits you

also, ford has done a really, really good job of pushing people into different (ergo higher) trims with selective packages available
