Definitely no harm. Those Quattros are sold as a pair with a wiring harness without a relay also, not really sure why they ship it both ways.

This may be a dumb question but this is my first time doing anything like this. Where are the best places to connect the positive and negative on the battery?

Your battery should have four positive terminals available, and only two of them are used from the factory. However, the other two posts don't have any nuts on them, so you'd need to get a nut that fits if you want to use those posts. (I don't remember what size you need though. There are some posts elsewhere on the forum here that have the sizes.) However, you can also just connect to one of the already used posts. Likewise for the negative post - but there's only one post available there.

You'll just need to remove the nut holding down the existing connections, place the ring terminal from the light harness, and replace the nut. Connect the positive first, then the negative.

As the wiring diagram says, connect the blue wire from the harness to the aux switch first, then make the battery connections.
