Picked this up on Amazon and installed it over the weekend. I like this version better than the other one they have. Reason being it doesn't interfere with hard top removal.
Very solid and aside from the thin powder coat a very nice addition.

All the parts have thick rubber padding where they connect to each other and the D pillars.

Although it probably won't need it I added small pieces of rubber padding on the lower part of the D pillar mounting brackets because they're very close to the bottom of the D pillar.

Very happy with this purchase and it should make loading up for a day on the beach much easier.

Looks great. Would you mind posting a link? I made one out of plywood last year but this looks like a much cleaner solution

And how is it mounted to the roll bar? Is it just squeezed onto the bar or is it actually mounting into one of the open threaded holes on the roll bar?

A combination of the two. It uses one of the threaded holes in the front of the D pillar and the two mounting brackets bolt together with thick rubber padding between them and the pillar. Not sure if any sane person uses the built-in bottle opener in the D pillar but just in case, you should be aware that the bracket covers it.

I am very interested in this, but curious what this looks like with the top off? Also, if/when the top is off, would this act as a bit of cargo area security? Could someone still reach in and grab stuff out of the back? I assume if the item was big enough they would not be able to pull it out.

Thank you

I'll be swapping out the hardtop for soft now that the warmer weather is here. I'll take a few pictures and post them here.
As for security, I believe you're correct, it will be hard to remove anything bigger than say a football, unless the seats are flipped down but I read another post suggesting connecting a short ratchet strap from the child safety seat anchors on the backs of the rear seats to the underside of the cargo tray.
I also swapped out the bolts that hold the tray to the brackets for SS carriage bolts inserted from the top and screw knobs on the bottom to prevent the tray from being removed while the truck is locked up.
I'll have that setup when I remove the hardtop.
Pictures to follow.

I've been looking for an option to stow my front hard top panels without having to move things from the cargo area. Would you be able to store the panels on top of this rack and close the tailgate and rear window?
