My 3rd top has one crack after 2 months. I don’t see them getting any better. I haven't seen a 2 door yet that doesn't have a crack.

Sorry its happening to you, but my 2 door is still ok. So they are out there.

I just noticed a small crack coming in one of my front panels. Jan 2024 build. 4-door.

I just rented a ‘25 big bend. The top had no headliner like my ‘24 does. If Ford replaces just the clamshell under warranty do they ship the replacement with the headliner if the Bronco came with it from the factory or are you stuck with front panels with the liner and a clamshell without?

My opinion, the bare top without the liner looks pretty ratty.

Needs to be ordered separately by the dealer

I had to remind the dealer when I went in to get my cracked top warrantied. Even then, they didn't order it and I had to go back for another appointment to install the sound deadening liner.

They also only warranty the panel showing signs of a problem. I had the entire rear replaced (4 door) with cracking in the C-Pillar and not around the window. The 3 front panels weren't changed. I don't notice any color variation, but have seen it posted here that they dont always match.

Glass company had to do the window install and it took two trips to get the rear hatch defrosters to stay.

So far my 2022 Bad Lands two door MIC top has no issues. I do remove it for the entire summer and the Bronco is garaged kept. This weekend I bought another two door top from a local who removed it for a soft top the day he brought his Bronco home. Paid $500 for the entire top with front panel bag. I decided it was a solid insurance policy since my ride is out of the initial warranty and the extended warranty does not cover the top.

It will be interesting in the future to see how or if these cracked tops get repaired as more and more are out of warranty. Maybe some good fiberglass guys will come up with repairs that hold.

What should happen but probably won’t is Ford just says hey we effed up letting these idiots build tops for us. Here you go, here’s your new fiberglass top like Jeep has.

I mean, who in their right mind looks at a top that’s built around cardboard, thinking that’s a good idea, let alone innovative.

The dealer is supposed to order the headliner with the replacement roof if your build had the headliner. In other threads people suggested to rind the dealer that they need to order the headliner. That’s what I did roof came in and headliner and service dept installed the headliner and swapped out the glass.

What did they do wrong with your rear defroster? All they did on mine was swap everything over rear hatch, wire loom and water line for the rear sprayer.

rear window defrost has two wires brazed on. First time I opened the hatch- they both popped right off.

Oh that’s not good! They didn’t have to disconnect from those points. I had covers over mine so they had to disconnect from the main harness where you disconnect when taking the top off.

Currently have a 24 Bronco with soft top, thinking about trading it in for a higher trim level with a hard top. How common are the cracking issues on the latest models? I see videos of the tops cracking and having to be replaced only to have it happen again. Just curious to how widespread this is and if it is a big concern. Thanks

I'm telling you I believe every single MIC will delaminte/crack. I just ran out of my 3y36k and I have had 4 roofs replaced due to delamination (thanks to my dealer for working with me). This final roof was installed July 2025 and now has signs of delamintion. I've found small hairline cracks forming on the rear clamshell. I thought my issues were exacerbated from automatic car washes, but turns out that didn't matter with this most recent MIC roof since I only hand washed it once. I'm more curious if the painted hard tops will start to crack/delaminate

Just brought my 2025 Raptor in yesterday with same issue. Only 4100 miles on it
Let’s see what Ford does for me.

Wow that looks bad.

Noticed yesterday my 2023 2-door has developed more cracks on the clamshell portion, mainly on the sides above the windows. Not happy about that. Early spring next year before the 3 year warranty runs out later that summer, I should try and get it replaced. :(
