I took the $299 hit and decided to purchase and install a Pedal Commander in my Bronco. My first impressions....WOWie WOW! No more lag at all on acceleration. I have mine set up on City +2. I did try Sport + on +2 and it is almost undrivable because of how sensitive the gas pedal is.

Does anyone else have experience with purchasing and using the Pedal Commander?

I've been running one for a couple years now, love it w/ the 7MT. Recently added the Panda Power module...they pair together nicely.

I had a throttle booster and installed the Procal tune. The tune helps a lot so I ended up removing the throttle booster, it wasn't really needed anymore.

i’ve been curious how these would pair with the manual, does it do anything differently than using sport mode? i prefer a nice smooth response with the throttle (i miss my custom tuned GTI it had the best response i’ve felt on a turbo motor tbh) for easy rev matching. i find sport too aggressive, normal & eco are better and eco especially on the freeway to help stay out of boost easier.

I can't comment on sport mode, BL doesn't have it. Between the pedal commander and the Panda there's numerous combinations from pretty much factory to very aggressive...I'm sure you could find a decent combination to fit your wants

Another option is Pulsar XT which gives you a good tune but you can also adjust the pedal sensitivity, turn off auto start/stop and a few other things.
