Car seats!

I thought this would be pretty easy to decide on one but jesus, there are more options with car seats than there are Ford Bronco Trims and Models.

Anyone have any infant car seats or any types of car seats in the car?

Was space an issue for any car seats that you guys tried?

Someone recommended getting a rotating seat because of how high the Bronco sits so the rotating functionality would make it easier to get the newborn in and out.

Anyways, any input is welcome! Thank you

Congrats! My youngest if 15 but I suspect that most car seats will work since the back seat of the Bronco is pretty big.

Congrats brother!! I have a 7month old son and a 3.5 year old daughter. Both in rear facing car Nuna RAVAs. Our son was in a Nuna PIPA when he was an infant but the kid is MASSIVE and grew out of it within a few months so we had to buy another RAVA. It is a little tougher to get the kids in compared to our expedition but the seats fit well and both kids are comfy. The attached pic is from April when we had him in the infant PIPA. You can kinda see my daughter‘s RAVA on the passenger side. I’ll have both of the car seats in my bronco Thursday and can snap another pic if need be

My son is almost out of his booster so it’s been a while but we did Chico and really liked their products. That’d be my suggestion.

This is perfect! We will probably still get an infant car seat and then just get a different car seat when it outgrows the infant seat. We've been looking at a lot of Nunas so its nice to see that these PIPA series fit! I'm sending these pictures to my wife ASAP!

That's also on our list....it has so many good reviews. What stroller did you end up going with, with the Chicco?

We used this till they were out of the portable car seat. After that my wife bought a higher end two seat stroller set up from some other brand I can’t remember which. We did however buy Chico for every car seat. Easy to clean when they have blow outs or barf in it. Both of which happened with both of my children multiple times.

The last seats I had to buy for my kids came with doors and an engine...they're a bit older ;)

That’s exactly what we did when we had our daughter. We knew we wanted at least one more so we have had the PIPA since she was a baby and then we store it When the kids grown out of it

First of all, congrats.

as a dad of a 2 1/2 year old, I can say you'll want a seat that uses up the least depth. The way the rear seats are tiered, the rear facing seats interfere with the upper portion of the fronts, limiting how much you can move the seat back and recline. For us, the carrier was better in this regard so it stayed in the vehicle with the least space (was my wife's fusion) until he was too big for it.

as for getting the kid in and out, if you're shorter than 6ft, it might be a bit of a challenge. again, due to the rear seats and rear facing seat, i pretty much feed my kid through the opening feet first and set him in. He can climb into the car and into his seat in my wife's gx460. Side steps or running boards would probably make this a bit better, but I don't have steps on mine.

I have the Britax One4Life convertible, as it took up the least room between the back of the back seat and the back of the front seat. I know other parents that love the diono seats, but we've read they are really difficult to clean and then put all the pieces back in. We also considered one of the swiveling seats, but found they generally were not quite as safe as the traditional seats.

Hopefully we'll free up some more space in the next couple weeks when we turn his seat forward facing.

Congrats!! I have 3 car seats of varying sizes in my Bronco currently. You will have plenty of room.

I'll take some pictures and get some model numbers later today.
