Every year car seats seem to get bigger and bigger.

My advice remains the same, buy the least expensive, smallest one Walmart sells.

Yeah this is good advice honestly. I fell into the "Ooo look, a convertible seat that will last from 0 to 100lbs! Great!" but the thing is absolutely massive and takes up so much space, which is particularly a concern when they are forward facing and kicking the back of my seat.

Our son is 4 now, so in a booster in the bronco (the Nuna AACE booster). We started him in the Uppababy infant carrier, then once he was out of that we used the Cybex Sirona. The cool thing about the Sirona is that the seat rotates, so getting him in and out didnt kill your back. You just swiveled it 90 degrees and he was facing you to get unbuckled. I think Graco makes a swivel one now too

I was talking about the car seats and getting kids in and out of Bronco but I do like where your thinking is going

Car seats!

I thought this would be pretty easy to decide on one but jesus, there are more options with car seats than there are Ford Bronco Trims and Models.

Anyone have any infant car seats or any types of car seats in the car?

Was space an issue for any car seats that you guys tried?

Someone recommended getting a rotating seat because of how high the Bronco sits so the rotating functionality would make it easier to get the newborn in and out.

Anyways, any input is welcome! Thank you
Congratulations bud!

Anything with a latch connector will be fine in your Bronco. Chico Keyfit is our money seat for all 3 of our newborns. You leave the base in the car and dock the seat when you load up the fam.

Diono is great once they go front facing because you can fit 3 across without an issue.

Congrats on your big news! I highly recommend against cheap seats. You kinda get what you pay for with materials, comfort, and ease. I have used Chicco, Graco, Nuna, Britax, and Evenflo brands. I would recommend all equally except for Evenflo (slight edge with Nuna, but highest price). The Evenflo, being the cheapest, f**cking sucks to secure tightly, use, and remove. The straps get in the way of its own plastic and cinching down the straps is not smooth at all. It's just not designed well and seems like it wasn't tested before they released the product. In my experience, you'll want to spend at least $250 for something that won't frustrate the hell out of you.

Have not had any issue so far with physically fitting a car seat behind my driver seat. I'm 5'10" with a manual trans. Having good full length running boards help tremendously too, so you can step anywhere to wrangle things at whatever angle you need to.

+1 for Diono. Nice and narrow, plus their build quality is much better than a lot of the other cheap plastic ones I've dealt with.
It doesn't look like Diono makes an infant seat?

Congrats Kenny ! Mine is 14 now so I don`t remember what we used for seats BUT it wasn`t fun getting him in and out of the 06 Mustang back seat. The Bronco should be much easier.
