So much of the content on this site has been contributed based on pics from stig and Ashley. Funny this thread. I’ve been thinking we should have a rerun of stig pics cycle through. Kind of a best of The Stig. So many nights spent staring at those pics, feeling like for this vehicle. I miss him too... Blurry potato and all. Regardless Ashley still brings the heat with the wilderness shots. But maybe @618TRVLWILD could drop some oldies but goodies?! Watch this thread go 50 pages

Stig if you’re out there I want to thank you for all your help over the last 10 months. You and @618TRVLWILD helped me decide my build piece by piece. Probably more helpful than the build and price tool. You’re a master of your trade.

This picture, this is the one that made me decide on carbonized grey.

And here’s the on that made me realize I don’t really need Sasquatch.

and this classic! This one made me decide I needed the 12” screen with all its camera glory!

Oh stig, how I miss the good ’ol days. When I pondered your identity. What it must be like scurrying from place to place in the factory gathering an array of info to gift us each evening. Once I even started a thread asking how you were able to scoop the BN flannel boys so regularly. But that was closed quickly by @Administrator for fear of info leading the blue oval security forces to your identity. I never would have thought mere weeks latter you’d be no longer. . But now I wait, and wonder, now that your cover is blown. Will we learn your story? Will you ever get the credit you deserve?

Where ever that potato takes you in the future, know you have truly left a mark on this site and this buyer. Farewell my friend. You are missed!

I had narrowed it down to base Base , Base6Squatch or a pretty nice manual Mid Badlands.
LOL, huge difference, I know.
I had to check myself with, all those years day dreaming about fixing up/modernizing my 69, what all did that entail?
Not nearly as much as the Base has, that's for sure!!!

Plus, HoosierDaughter is squaking about driving a manual, I want to teach her in a Bronco, new or old! NOT waiting for a ManSquatch!

I figure, at a minimum, I'll slap some bigger tires on it and drive it a few years and figure out all of those "On the next Bronco, I'm getting...." questions.
MAYBE .... gift the Base to her at that point, if I can swing it.
