I want to add 4A to a 7MT Bronco. Is the cheapest way to do it truly worth $8345?

4A is a $795 option, but I have to move up to a Black Diamond to be able to get it with 7MT.

$38340 MSRP versus $29995. Trying to decide if I’m going to like the MGV seats, washout floors and rear locker (and a few other things that could easily be sourced aftermarket) enough to justify the 8 grand+ upcharge.

Similarly, to get just a $495 rear locker, I would need to spend $5380 (move from Base to Big Bend).

I think I’ll just hang out here in Base camp.

For the money they want for the nice to haves, I decided to hang in Base camp.

But I remember when AC was an upgrade option....

That is Ford’s option cost for the electronic rear locker, but first you have to spend 5 grand moving up to Big Bend for the privilege of asking.......
