Just installed these beauties yesterday, but realized the gap without the weatherstripping is quite noticeable. Any suggestions for replacement? Also would love to hear thoughts! I love them aside from the gap.

Wow! I’m honestly surprised J Dubs would even allow such a large gap. So you’re not supposed to reuse the weatherstripping with this new trail sight huh?

That would annoy the crap out of me. Nothing like making an expensive mod that turns out to look odd and performs worse than OEM.

I actually don't think so. The weatherstripping is attached with tabs that aren't on these

Yah, not sure if these perform worse, but it does look a bit off right now.. only because I know it's there

I would definitely send pics of the gap and give them a call. If you look at J Dubs personal bronco and zoom in, it doesn’t look like the gap is there.

You have a big gap right where all kinds of crap can get stuck where you did not before. Those Icon trail sights would definitely perform worse than OEM. The more I look at these, the jankyer these Icon parts look.

What did they cost?

As mentioned above, I’d reach out to the vendor first.

Plan B, I’m sure you could use some foam tape/weatherstripping and fill in the gaps fairly easily. Thinking of that stuff you put between a truck canopy and the sides of the truck bed that it rests on.

On further thought, I agree... will need a solution here.

As for cost, hopefully not too much to regret! :)

I've been on the hunt for some weather stripping options while waiting to here back from ICON

Right from "J Dubs" website....That sure looks like $700 of jank right there.

The weatherstripping does easily pop off the OEM trail sights. I just did it with the Mabett trail sight lights. However, I'm not sure if your new trail sights will accept the OEM weatherstripping.

No I don't think they will accept the OEM weatherstripping unfortunately. Haven't heard back from ICON 4x4 so still need to have some options
