I'm a June Build!! - UPDATE - Received my VIN # today!

my dealer seems clueless and they are one of the biggest dealers in Houston. I reached out to them, the guy they put in charge barely knew how to turn on a computer much less do the orders. He had to get his manager to help him re input all the orders on the day they were due. the communication since has been nil, i asked if he had any word yet, nothing, did he knew where i was in the order sequence just at the dealership, he basically said im goign to have to wait on ford.

What Ford dealer in Houston? I’m getting mine through Autonation Ford Katy but yeah, other than when I placed my order was the last email and phone call exchange I’ve had.

well I dont want to throw these guys under the bus, but given I had reservation on 1st day in the first 5 minutes and ordered on the first day If im not one of the early builds I will be irate.

I wonder how many folks thought that they had got there order in on time for a 2021, but in actuality did not, because of incompetence beyond their control. Incompetence is everywhere today and it seems to be getting worse. Am I wrong about this? Let me know.

Just got off a call from my dealership. They called me! (First time for everything) They advised me that Ford is telling them that I'm going to be a June build!!!

I don't mind telling you that my heart beat went up a couple of beats as I felt the excitement, but then thought of this forum and all the dealers that have passed on mis-information. So i'm trying my best to temper my excitement.

If true, I would assume if I'm a June build, I will see my Bronco 2 months after, so say August?

I hope it's true.

Updated with more info: I was a July 17th reservation, I've never seen a time stamp. I ordered January 20th.

Soooooo I just spoke with my dealer and the good news is I don't need to be on tenterhooks anymore about when I am getting my build because of the bad news which is I won't be getting it a minute before the third/final build for 2021 based on my timestamp (7/18) and lineup with his allotment. So hopefully I will get it fourth quarter, but even when they get to me, I have leather in my build so by fourth quarter who knows, they will probably be out of leather and I will be pushed to 2022. Such is life.

Timeline:
I placed my initial reservation 3 days after release
I placed my official order on 1/20/21
I am order # 5700
Cactus Grey WildTrack High Package Cloth interior, some bells not all the whistles

I received this email from Ford at 1:57pm on 4/15/21, followed up by a text and a call from my dealer.

You're the man Brad, thank you very much. I knew there was a very likely chance I would be late 2021, but ain't gonna lie, I got caught up in all the excitement lately on this damn forum. Shame on me.

At first, not good at all. I actually had me FE reservation with Stivers in AL. I received a link directly from them to access the reservation site on reveal night. Their communication was abhorrent and after multiple attempts at trying to get information from them I decided to move.

My Wildtrak 2dr was with Riverside so I contacted them as well as a couple of other out of state dealers about moving my FE. After four calls asking about reservation number and allocation, being told someone would return my calls only to wait, I finally got ahold of Donna. She was great and set me up with all the information. Since then I’ve worked directly with the sales manager who’s also Bronco “specialist”. Been better with exception of recently when this new build date info dropped. They haven’t produced much feedback to my questions. Still hopeful I’ll have some updates soon!

How’s it been with your experience?

Mine has been neither great or bad. My dealer called to confirm our orders but didn’t completely build them out. So basically just a couple of weeks ago they built them out. I did mine early because I was mad that everybody on this forum had built them out to what they wanted. So I did mine on February 2nd I believe. Can’t wait to see you rolling around here with your bronco! I’ll definitely wave lol
