I like that the MIC top is a darker gray but I don't understand why Ford can't just make it black MIC to match the fender flares and other black bits.

I had the exact same thought when I saw the incandescent bulbs. I can't believe any car manufacturer is still using them. Otherwise that is a beautiful truck.I still can’t understand why that fan switch is “chrome” and the interior lights are incandescent bulbs...nice rig though.
So I did a 60 page paper on Ford and the reason for the multi color is because Ford uses recycled materials to cut cost and help the environment. Some stuff is barely noticeable but in your case I guess it was. No excuses for them but at least it’s eco friendly.Ford's interior designs have really been regressing the last 10-15 years. My 2014 F-150 had 4 different shades of gray on the doors. Some of the decisions are obviously for cost reasons, but a lot of them are just poor design choices with no impact to cost. My 2006 Mercury Mariner had a really nice looking 2-tone design, but the 2-tones in the wildtrak and FE just don't work very well.
Same! Thanks !I’m 6’4” also, very much a relief to hear that you were not feeling constricted. Great photos, thank you.
Man, didn't those things ride and sit SOOO well!?I learned to drive on a Ford Aerostar Van. Don't underestimate the amount of fun a group of high schoolers could have in such a vehicle.
Anything longer than 4 hours you are supposed to see a doctor thoughI've been staring at those pics for 4-hours and I've been erect the entire time.
Or the base model, dernit. I was thinking of throwing on some polished 17" American Racing Bajas and painting the top white.sickest color... such a shame its not available for the First Edition.
my wifes parents are still proud owners of a 1997 Aerostar XLT, its like showroom quality condition still. I did a Marti for it....Man, didn't those things ride and sit SOOO well!?
Lol I had one back in the day, two tone brown. Reminded me of a 3 Musketeers bar.
(Showing my age here):
In high school our instructor car was a Plymouth Volare. Old and abused, smelled like Dapper Dan, coffee creamer, and vests.
My 1st car was a 1986 Escort 4 dr.
Party machine.
We even made it cooler by taking a flathead screwdriver to the emblem on the back, making it officially the "'Scort".
If only that car could talk...

Leather seats weren't that bad
Liked the red metal coming inside the truck
The blue accents were a little weird looking with the red exterior. After sitting in it a bit they kind of went away and didn't notice them.
Didn't use the steps. They are complete waste.
Seats were comfortable.
Glad I'm getting washout materials. Carpet is going to get DIRTY.
Interior dash/controls look and feel great.
Damit, this whole time I thought it was a beer bongThis funnel is for the gas tank. You use it when you are filling it from a jerry can. It has come on every capless fuel filler Ford since they started making them.
Optical illusion - It seems bigger than F-150s because for one thing F-150 is just plain bigger, so with more cabin the screen won't look as big, but they've also designed the other interior elements to be "big" too, which also optically play against screen size.I'm totally in agreement with you on the screen size. It almost appears larger than the F-150's 12-incher. I also really like the red color-matching on the doors.

Firm/supportiveQuick question on seats - were they lazy Boy comfortable or firm and supportive comfortable?
