It'll be just like driving a Bronco 1G
You can make a first gen bronco drive pretty damn good. My ‘67 drives great although noise cancelling ear pods are a help for long trips.

First ride as co-driver (no such thing as a front seat passenger in a Grenadier) in my son's new beast. First impressions to be followed with more detail as his miles roll up

1. short 120 mile trip home from dealer but his screen recorded 17.8 mpg - impressive for first drive
2. steering wheel is a tad off center and will have to be addressed
3. otherwise build quality is top-notch
4. too much vibration through the floorboards on simple gravel roads - whether it is because the BFGoodrich tires need some tread worn off or that the 48 psi spec is too high or that some suspension components are too stiff - it certainly is annoying
5. on highway it rides like - like a 4wd truck from the last century - not that that is bad but it might be tiring for a 2100 mile cross-country trip
6. no arm rest on door, at least in co-drive seat
7. footroom is compromised a bit by transmission bulge
8. with no footsteps, only rock rails (as ordered) it is a much higher access and egress than my Bronco for which I do not even use my side steps (32" tires)
9. steering , yes , is slower than a rack & pinion but will self-center somewhat as you drive. An r&p recovers faster but this should not be the cause of any accidents - long time ago a mentor told me most steering related accidents were caused by the loose nut behind the wheel.
10. 5 yr 60k warranty - which they have to be better than the field being new to the party
11. regular bank financing is better than what they offer in-house

I received an email saying mine is in the US and being prepped for delivery, but I’ve decided to let it go. I’m not willing to trust the dealer network yet (the closest dealer being a ~7 hour drive). I may end up regretting it. Only time will tell.

Great vehicle in many ways. $$$ Take your buddy or partner on a test drive first, have them sit in the front passenger seat and ask them how they like the bump intruding into their footwell.
