Just got the smooth rail a week ago, worth every dime even if I never mount anything to it. It’s very well made and the look is incredible. With the forum discount, anyone saying it’s too expensive should stop stepping over dollars to pick up dimes. It’s worth every cent.

So Archetype Racing (@EIGHTLUG) came through with the BYOD rail and this thing is beautiful! I can honestly say if Ford or 4WP came out with one, it would not be this nice. This thing is so saucy (as EIGHTLUG would say)! If you haven’t ordered one yet, you need to! Even if you don’t plan on mounting anything to it, it’s that nice! Now I really can’t wait for the STIRRUPS!

From my understanding, it’s all just aesthetics. They both can use the same accessories.

The cheese grater style will accept more positions for an indexed picatinny mount. The smooth rail will accept them but at wider intervals. But there are plenty of non-indexed mounts available that will work with either, all up and down the rail.

Basically, pick the one you prefer the aesthetics of.

I just ordered the AR TAP and their BALLS tonight. Anyone have a solution for an EZ Pass holder that fits on the picatinny rail? The only holders I have found are the suction cup window holders. Looking for something that will clamp down on the AR TAP. Thank you!

Ordered my BAM Picatinny rail in Graphite Black earlier this week, so the wait is on, but looking forward to the arrival.

Question for those with 67 Designs phone and arms, which BALLs did you order? Is it the 20 or the 50? I can’t really tell easily on either AR or 67 Designs websites.

Also, anyone with both 67 Design balls and the AR BALLS? Why one over the other? Thx!
