Intercooler Grille Shroud is there a way to remove it?

Hello guys,

Looking to remove the intercooler grille shroud to possibly increase airflow on a Modular Bumper…

-Is there a how to?
-Will it trigger a CEL?

I removed the frame and shutters when I installed the Whipple IC. I removed the shutter motor from the assembly and kept it connected as I wasn’t sure if it would generate an error. One day I will play with to see if the disconnect causes a problem<

Thanks! Should the bumper be removed to delete the grill… if so is there a how-to for removing the bumper?

You must be talking about the active shutters and not the shroud right?

The shroud is just a rectangular plastic/rubber seal that can easily be removed.

The active shutters... That I don't know.

Yes I mean the active intercooler shutters I tought it came with the shroud...

I guess it would be bettter to keep the shroud and remove the shutters... the question is how??
