Good eye.

I have 2 sets but they aren’t identical. The small ones (loose) are for the stock Ford charge pipes. The larger ones (attached) are for the Mishimoto charge pipes.

Honestly I was a little confused the way he explained it but the jist was he had to buy the extra collars because the way he upgraded from intercooler to intercooler + charge pipes.

When I look on the Mishimoto website I see they have a few different charge pipe kits but they appear to include the necessary collars at first glance. But I haven’t dug into details.

All that jabbering to say I may be interested in selling a pair of them once I know they are truly extras and I won’t need them when I convert to the upgraded pipes. Hope that makes sense.
Okay @mpeugeot i think I found the answer. And this makes sense as the seller said he did his charge pipe upgrade first, before doing the intercooler.

Does the front bumper need to come off if you're not installing a high mount intercooler? Or can you still get to it from underneath the front skid plate?
You don't have to remove the bumper to install it. The motor cover for the intercooler shutters blocks about a third of the opening though. If you gut the shutter assembly with an oscillating saw or something it makes a nice shroud.

Which size do you need? Assume the larger ones? I’d like to help you out if possible. Just want to make sure I don’t shoot myself in the foot.

Actually, I still have the stock pipes, so those are the ones that I would currently need. I was planning on ordering the pipes later, but maybe I should just get it all done at once.

Just throwing this out there if you’re looking for an exhaust I have an AWE cat back that literally was only on the bronco for 50 miles it’s a $1100-$1200 exhaust can’t remember exactly but I’d sell it for $600 just to get it out of my way

Had the parts but waited to install a Mishimoto intercooler, charge pipes, and an Injen CAI due to reports that the Injen was responsible for throwing codes on the '23 2.7L. Injen eventually developed a solution for the CEL issue, so did everything all at once.

Including the coffee breaks and general futzing around, around a days worth of work.

Was concerned at first whether the Mishimoto stuff would play nice with the Injen CAI. Tight but everything fits together and feels solid.

Before:

After:
Ford Bronco Intercooler or Not? 462A0954

Sequence: Pull everything involved, install intercooler, install cold side pipes up to throttle body, install the CAI, finish with hot side pipes. Double check that all hose clamps are tight. Finished.

Overall easy driveway job for anyone that's comfortable with wrenching. A helper could be useful when installing the intercooler particularly if you have the active shutters. Tight fit and heavy could make for a face smasher. Most difficult part here was the BOV bypass hose ... which was solidly adhered into place.

Were you running high IAT or what is driving this change? At what temp is timing getting pulled? Just wondering how close to the edge the stock cooler is running.

Really appreciate you posting this. This is very timely as I am trying to get my winch solenoid relocated using the BAMF relocation bracket that goes in front of the battery. I have run into several conflicts and was just curious how I might create another conflict if I were to install some aftermarket charge pipes.

Your before & after pics confirm those suspicions. The new pipes are bigger and fit closer to the battery than before. This is a problem as I was already really close to rubbing the pipes and making minor contact with the AC line. I had sketched out these conflict points along with mounting holes of the solenoid showing you could slide a little to hopefully have no contact on either side but it’s already so tight I don’t see it being friendly to larger charge pipes.

The 2nd pic is from a different user showing he is basically on the stock pipe.

Not sure if I need to figure out a new relocation solution or simply nix the upgraded pipes. Kind of depends if I can work out the other conflicts.

I do have an MX+ ODB dongle but haven't captured any data to this point. Change driven as part of a larger set of performance improvement upgrades over time.

That right angle corner near the battery is pretty jammed in there. The air intake supply tubing, directly below the charge pipe, jammed in as well. Interference looks probable. Maybe the Warn housing can be bent upwards towards the hood a bit or the housing trimmed?

I'll measure the tube diameter between the two and report back.

Mishimoto y-pipe:

There is some space between the charge pipe and the intake pipe, may be able to gain another quarter of an inch space with some jiggering.

Finally had time to do some wrenching. The Mishimoto is installed.

It was pretty easy. Undo 4-15mm bolts & 2 hose clamps and carefully lower. Stock cooler is pretty light.

The Mishimoto is quite a bit heavier. For ease I used my floor jack and a block of wood to get in place and temporarily hold while I reconnected the pipes and reinstalled the brackets. Easy peasy.

As mentioned, I opted to do this while also doing my bumper. With the bumper off I went ahead and removed the shutter system on the front side. I watched @MWILD CVF video that shows removing the shutter harness, motor, etc so you can reconnect the sensor and avoid CEL’s.

One area I was unclear about is the REAR shroud (part #6) that has a seal on top and some shutters that are NOT motor driven. The Mishimoto instructions call to reinstall them on the 2.7 but can be skipped on the 2.3. I have a 2.7. I’m assuming these are gravity/air driven. The seal looked like it had purpose as it was dirty.

In the @MWILD video it doesn’t appear his stock IC had them but it appears the CVF also had those tabs for it. Well they look similar to the Mishimoto ones anyhow. Can someone explain this REAR system and if it needs removed also or left in place?

Edited to add:

My base 2.7 Sas does not have the rear shutters so maybe it's related to a higher trim option. The only thing I could see them doing is redirecting the air up or down for whatever reason.
