Interior Lights - Easy Solution 3D Printed Bracket

The main mounting hole was made to fit the bolt above the airbag which is smaller than the holes on the Roll Bar. I can change it or you could drill it out. The slots can fit a 1/4" dia bolt and the overall length is 8in.

Ok so looking at that spot it looks like something else is made to connect there. There is a plastic push pin in it but it looks like it helps hold the plastic cover on as well. Either way a bracket that is flat would be better suited for that spot.

Ok here is version 2.0 of the bracket I made! I made it thicker and it holds up much better.

***Also I'm working on designing a bracket to mount in the rear above the rear glass tailgate via one of the recessed mounting screws.

Just wanted to let everyone know I plan on 3D printing a few of the 2.0 Brackets and post them for sale on the Bronco Marketplace soon. Hopefully in a week or two when I get them done.

Let me know if you want one so I can have enough of them made. I was going to have maybe 8 or 10 Qty made at first. I wanted to take a poll to see who all wants to buy them.

Most likely the price will be around $25 each *shipped, but it shouldn't be higher than that. I still need to figure out shipping costs etc. If you want 2 brackets I will make the price much better. Once I have all of the brackets made and the shipping details, I will post them for sale.

I have the same setup on my softtop. I made made two, one in the front and one in the rear. Perfect for a softtop.

But....I think the bracket being sold on this thread will work for both the hardtop and softop.

I think its a cool solution adding the rubber mounts to better move it around if needed.
I'm not sure how my Bracket might work with the Soft Top, but if you want buy one and try it out let me know. I still have 5 Brackets left for sale.


*Also, I designed a Different Bracket for the Rear Cargo Area for another forum user who requested it, plus I wanted to mount the light in the Rear in a better spot too.
I designed it to mount in the recessed "U" shape area for the small bolt above the rear glass and it was off center in case you wanted to mount it more to the driver side mounting spot as well. I recently redesigned it making it centered after the other forum user tested it out and gave me some good feedback. If anyone is interested in the Rear Cargo Bracket let me know.
