I have an iPhone 13 Pro and when added to the Bronco as a hands free device, the ring volume through the system is extremely loud and does not reflect the ring volume level set on the phone itself. It’s been so loud as to be a bothersome distraction.
I have been unable to find any volume adjustments for the hands free ringtone volume. Once the phone is answered, voice volume is just fine with no issues. Any suggestions?

I think to help your issue, as the phone is ringing through your Bronco turn the volume down to the desired level.

I have almost the opposite issue. My ring volume is fine through the Bronco, but after it’s connected it turns my phone ringer volume all the way up. Every single time.

Adjusting the volume to a lower level when the ring starts is what I currently do, but when the initial ring begins, it’s so loud it’s startling.

Adjust the stereo volume knob while the phone is actively ringing, not the volume on the phone. Same should work for the turn-by-turn directions volume.

Hope that makes sense.

That’s exactly what I am having to do, but wish to avoid. Thanks for your reply though.

Weird, It worked permanently on mine.
Last thing I’ll add is making sure IOS is updated.

IOS is all updated…..but the issue is not the phone IMO, but rather the Bronco’s Sync4 system which I looked there for a remedy. My SYNC4 is all up to date as well

Same here, works great. It’s not the Bronco. Each function has its own volume. You can’t adjust unless using. On maps for instance, you can only adjust when it’s talking or you mess something else up so you have to be quick. Same with my other vehicles so it’s CarPlay related. Stupid that the phone doesn’t allow individual adjustments on a screen. Best when connected to put the phone on full volume then adjust individually the radio / phone / map functions as needed with the radio volume. Disconnected the phone returns to the previous volume setting. It will remember each car separately unless you reset. Same as it’s been as long as I can remember using CarPlay.

Try the reboot of Sync by pushing the power and fast forward buttons simultaneously for 3 or so seconds. Also reboot your iPhone for good measure.
