iPod integration

Yesterday I ordered a Bluetooth Transmitter/Receiver from Amazon. It came today. Charged it and connected to the aux jack on my iPod. Was able to get it to Sync with the Bronco but then got a message saying that the device did not have any Synch compatible functions and it disconnected! Rage against the machine! It should not be this difficult!
I must admit the Bluetooth device may be a POS!

Blues tooth works fine with my blue tooth speaker and blue tooth headphones. Just will not work wih Sync!

Just foudn a publication from Ford showing what devices are compatible with SYNC 3 - iPod ain't one of them!
