So I've been thinking about this and I'm wondering if anyone with more technical skills can weigh in.

What is stopping someone from taking apart the Ford Performance ARB Single Kit and buying an under hood bracket and mounting it as if I'd bough a standalone ARB Single compressor?

Tell me why this isn't possible

It is possible. I forget how the ARB is mounted in the box (i'm not at the shop now, we have them on display). But as long as it has the mounting base, you can certainly mount it to our KR Off-Road mount.

Take the compressor outta that box, mount it to our system. You may need to extend the wiring harness, since that harness MIGHT be shorter then the normal one provided. You can even add on our switch panel if you want the switch next to the compressor

NOT the best way to go, price wise, BUT if you used ford points or had one laying around, sure...

I've had the KR mount bookmarked on your site since announced and just haven't pulled the trigger yet.

Thanks for the info about the compressor, no one better to comment than the company who sells the bracket I was referring to. I did in fact use ford points. I will look the kit over once I get it and see if it's within my abilities to convert everything. I love the idea of an under hood solution.

I went a different route with my compressor so if you are looking to try the KR mount I still have a brand new one I'm looking to move. Feel free to message me.
