Is this a good deal on 2023 Wildtrak

Hey all,

I know prices are subjective to different people, but wanted to see what y'all think. Dealer will sell a new 2023 Wildtrak, Cactus Gray, Lux, hardtop, no other add ons for 61,900. Msrp was 67,050. I know prices have been trending down lately. Is this a good deal? Great deal? Not so great deal? Should I try the for the same model used?

A $5k discount from MSRP is pretty damn good for a Wildtrack but I don't understand why the MSRP was so high to begin with. According to the Ford configuration web site for 2023 Broncos, a Wildtrack with only the Lux package added on should have a total MSRP of under $65k. But doesn't really matter anyway. A Wildtrack with the Lux package for $61,900 is still a pretty good deal. I just bought one.

2023 MSRP for that configuration is $64,400 (pulled from window sticker at local dealer).
The 67,050 is 2024 MSRP; they inflated it to make is seem like you are getting a great deal.
They are knocking off $2,500 which is equivalent to X Plan pricing..
That is a good deal.

Just make sure your finance rate and period does not make up the difference. Charging you 1% higher and a year longer gives them back the $2,500. Buying it at true MSRP for a better rate and shorter period would be a better deal.

Do your homework before you buy, unless you have money to burn

I think the discrepancy with the MSRP is also adding the hardtop. I forgot to mention it's a 4 door too. When I use the 2023 Ford Bronco website builder, adding the Lux package and hardtop brings it to slightly over 67k after the Ford fees. Am I missing something?

Build the bronco, take off about 4% and that will be your invoice-ish number just to give you an idea.

Now some manufacturers can go below invoice and still make money. Hell you can get a jeep for like 7% under....but for a Bronco that isn't going to happen.

Just make sure you know exactly what that Bronco has installed. Mine was 2022 WT and I was out the door for 57k and had added tow, built in Nav (High package), and roof rack (hard top)...but you can't even order the combo anymore.

That is a good deal. We ordered back in 2021 the same rig and that is what we paid. We took delivery in 2023 and without price protection it would have been $69k.

Deal value also depends how the vehicle will be used. If you're paying at the high end of Bronco prices just to drive around on pavement, the deal is questionable. You could probably save 10k or more for a lower cost Bronco that better fits with the usage. I mean it's a lot of money if you're not going anywhere a Honda Civic couldn't take you.
