Not possible as ALL FEs will be built in 2021 and the MOD top is a 2022 option your customer will get his FE with a MIC top Mark my words if you'd like. If you're a dealer you should do some research on it so you are better informed.

How are you going to tell me? When you are completely incorrect. For FE Holders they get the choice, or anyone for that matter that wants a MOD Top. This was in an email directly from Ford.

Ford has said repeatedly that the FEs will only be 21MY. If you wait for the Black MOD Top, you are going to get a 22MY and thus will not receive a FE.

This is incorrect. My FE Customer decided to stay with the MOD Top. It doesn't automatically change. The Dealer has to physically make that change.

I believe an FE order is automatically changed to MIC as it is not possible to have a MOD top in MY21 and all FE's will be MY21. FE orders could change trim levels and delay to MY22 with a MOD top or get their FE in MY21 with MIC - no option to push an FE order to MY22 with a mod top. Here's a snippet from my email sent to FE holders:

In October, we told you the black painted modular hard top roof was going to be removed as the standard First Edition roof offering and the price reduced accordingly. At that time, we believed we could still offer this feature as a late-summer availability option for 2021 model year, but we didn't account for the continued effects of COVID-19 on our supplier readiness. Due to challenges our roof supplier is experiencing, the black painted modular hard top and dual top roofs will unfortunately not be available until 2022 model year. Your Bronco First Edition will now come with a carbonized gray molded-in-color roof, (you can see a version here) and your price will be adjusted accordingly.

This is all correct for every trim but FE. First Editions will all be built in MY21 so explain how they can change it to a MY22 to wait for a MOD top I'll wait.

Ford says a lot of things. But as of right now, his build is still an FE with the Black Mod Top. It hasn't changed. Unless Ford makes that happen, which they can because our Mannequin was done by them and completely untouchable to Us. This is something I'm watching closely to see what happens.

I called my dealer today to change colors. It was done, so someone is wrong. I got the updated build sheet and my priority stayed the same. Only thing that changed was the color.

Seems to be a 49/49 toss up from what's been reported up in here. The other 2% Are actually in it for the long run and are keeping up and actually contributing to the board...

Priority 99 means that it won’t be built in 2021.

I called my dealer today to change colors. It was done, so someone is wrong. I got the updated build sheet and my priority stayed the same. Only thing that changed was the color.

Something is screwed up because some people have been told their order is locked in while others can still make changes. My order was locked in last week apparently. I am guessing around when the extension ended. This is Ford so it makes sense that this is still a mess

Thanks. The most frustrating part is that the dealers don’t seem to be getting consistent information and it’s causing a ton of confusion with us, the customers.

Based on your system you are not wrong, but based on your information you are wrong. Ford will update this automatically and your customer will receive a MIC and in turn will be mad AF because his dealer incorrectly told him he'd get a Painted MOD top.
