Certainly, when someone trades in their Bronco for a glorified Roxar at well over twice the price, then starts a thread on it, on a Bronco forum, ones got to expect a small amount of ribbing.

Ribbing is all good. I just wanted to say thank you and that I really enjoyed the community on here. I ordered my Bronco on July 14, 2020 while sick with Covid because the world seemed to be going to hell at that moment. It was a great distraction from everything and provided something to look forward to and a group of people (y'all) to share stories with. For that I will be forever grateful.Certainly, when someone trades in their Bronco for a glorified Roxar at well over twice the price, then starts a thread on it, on a Bronco forum, ones got to expect a small amount of ribbing.
I would think the suspension would have more to do with tongue weight than towing capacity. The Ford Ranger with the 2.3 is rated for 7500 lbs and the F150 with the 2.7 in rated for 10,000, it's got nothing to do with the engine or transmission, the suspension is the biggest problem.
Yea that's what I thought, but than I found this Grenadier Trailmaster with pretty much all off-road goodies you may want: skid plates, rock sliders, roof racks, even door carries (pretty cool - I wouldn't mind something like this on a Bronco):Nice choice!
The Grenadier is a great vehicle but there are probably almost no aftermarket parts available for mods thanks to the very small market. That, the scarcity of parts, the price, and the lack of a stick rule it out for me.
