Took me a little over 8 months to getting around to doing this but thought I finally had enough content to post up a build thread.



Oct 2021:

Finally take delivery of Bronco:

First mod is putting on some Diode Dynamic SS3 Ditch Lights

December 2021:

Added some Sinister CNC hooks in the rear:

Did our first camping trip as a family down in Kerrville, Texas on the river. Weather was awesome and it gave us a chance to get the kids outdoors.

January 2022:

Added RhinoUSA Shackle set in silver:

February 2022:

Added Bartact paracord grab handles (in Dozer Yellow which matches Badland orange pretty dang good):

Made a visit over to @Underground Graphics for some topo graphics and Texas flag window graphics

Added @Mabett V1 shelf to center console:

Swapped out the 4” speakers with Infinity Reference and also made up some pigtails to make it more plug-n-play.

March 2022:

Finally take the top completely off!

Picked up Rhino USA tow strap and soft shackles as well as a cheap Amazon shovel (because who doesn’t need a mini shovel!)

April 2022:

Used my Ford Pass Points on a Ford Performance (ARB) portable air compressor:

Made up a 4 tire inflation/deflate kit with the help of @evilletruck 's youtube video:

Decided to do a last minute coast trip down to Port Aransas with the family. This was my first time to be at the beach during a rip tide but we still had a blast!

apparently birds love the MIC top (probably cooler on their feet )

May 2022:

Decided to upgrade the SS3 pods to the new @Diode Dynamics SS5 with the backlight feature. These things are massive!

June 2022:

Purchased a set of Fifteen52 Turbomac HD wheels in bronze w/ black lip.

Took the Bronco over to @Chris Bedock @TCBRONCO for the following upgrades:

• 37" BF Goodrich KM3
• Zone 3" Lift for Sasquatch
• TCBronco Tailgate Support
• TC Bronco 3rd brake light extension
• JKS Tie Rod Sleeves

Dealership also reached out to me for a free gift which caught be off guard LOL:

June 2022 cont:

Made the trip over to Flagstaff, Arizona for my wife’s family reunion. While there we decided to take advantage of the forest service roads as we don’t have those in Texas.

Shultz Pass Road was a very pretty drive and we happen to catch it the day before a fire broke out in that area forcing them to close the trail down.

We did do a day trip down to Sedona via Schnebly Hill Rd. While it was rougher then I was expecting, Bronco did just fine and even saw a couple other Broncos on the trail (nice to meet you if you are on the forum and read this!). The views and scenery are simply amazing in this area and would recommend this trip to anyone!

Stopped by the Petrified Forest

Stopped by Meteor Crater

Shultz Pass Road (day before they closed it down for fires)

Next day we stopped Wupatki National Monument

Schnebly Hill (started at the top and worked our way down to Sedona)

Ended the Arizona part of the trip at the Grand Canyon

Stopped in Roswell on the way back home

How hard was the topo side stripe install? I have a topo hood vinyl from StickFab and this would match it nicely.

Lol we did the same trip last June except skipped roswell the grand canyon was awe inspiring hope the kids enjoyed it

My favorite thing to do here in Arizona when I go camping is driving on Forest Service roads.

I have the same stripe with different colors. It isn’t bad if you have worked with vinyl graphics at all. There is a good body line to follow. Take your time and get the front stripe straight and your good to go from there. If you doubt yourself get a pro to install as it’s not cheap to scrap it!
