It does works but what works better is a layer of double bubble radiant barrier. It's used as insullation and sold by the roll at Home Depot or Lowes.
Try it!
Mike
Does the Double bubble work better for heat/cold insulation or noise reduction (or both)?
I had been thinking about doing something similar, but with yoga mat material, or something similar.

If I want full sun, with just the front panels removed, is it easy to roll back the front portion of the shade and tuck it? Just thinking on the cooler days.

Do y'all have an install video? Curious how it all works before I decide if I want it. (I'm not 100% sure I want to give up the sky yet.)

Heat and cold. No effect on noise.

Yes we do.
As far as giving up the sky you can see right through the mesh. Plus the first time sitting in the blazing sun might change you mind.
The installation video is on broncosunshades.com
Hope this helps...

Unfortunately it was not designed or tested in that configuration. It might be tough to tuck it under the back panel.
Thanks for the question.

Maybe actually answer the roll back question Mike. I’ve tried several times here and via dm and there’s no answer. Please let me close that window of your website on my browser as it’s slowing my laptop down.

Not really, if you actually looked at the two times I asked and then dm’d him the question, it’s different than asking if you can roll it back one section at a time. I’m saying with the top panels all the way off and the back off, can you roll it back at all? It’s a simple yes or no. It’s either all the way on or all the way off if it can’t be. It’s fine either way I just want an answer. ALL other questions were answered and mine ignored. I guess that gives me the answer.

Still think he answered it?

I will say it again, it’s not designed to be used in that configuration. What customers do with a product once they get it is their choice.
We also have no other dm from you that I can find. Sorry for not responding to it.
Sorry about slowing down you laptop! That’s a new complaint we have never gotten before. We will look it to it with our provider.
If I can be of further assistance please let me know.
Mike

Thanks Mike. I appreciate the response and will place the order. I totally understand the “we haven’t tested it in that configuration”. I’m totally willing to do so.

No worries at all, my browser will be closed and my credit card dinged.

Yes….sure do. You received exactly zero new information in Mike last post so it must have been answered already. You were just pissed and thought you were being ignored.
