In reality all mesh tops will be louder. The difference with ours is there are no gaps to let in wind so it runs quieter. Even the mesh makes a difference in sound. Our titanium is a bit quieter because the weave is tighter. All will have a soft wind noise because the air moves through the mesh.
Since you leave it on what it will do is quiet the interior with the top up. It adds another layer and looks like a headliner because you can't see the soft tops metal structure.
All this said during around town driving it will not be noticeably louder. It's the highway speed that has the most effect but watch the video..
Attached is a raw speed test video at 85 MPH. Remember this is 85 MPH, there is a lot of air moving!!!
Hope this helps.

We were as well! The traffic was really light that day. We spent the time buzzing around taking notes on how the shade performed and what we could do to improve it. After this test we added 4 extra magnets and increased the tolerance of the front strip. The little details make a difference!

Very cool1
The top should stay on! Here is a short 85 MPH test video. We did a bunch and dialed in minor adjustments after the tests.

Not concerned with the top coming off..... that was a pun.
I do have a question though. I will be doing my own artwork once I get the top, because of TM rules. I will be using a 6'X8' flatbed printer, that also dries the ink immediately with UV light. We use it for banners, all outdoor signs, and awnings. I picked the Titanium for two reasons.... the weave is tighter, so it will make the print cleaner, and also the color will match with my Bronco, and with what I am printing on it. to the best of your knowledge, is there anything on the weave that will lift the ink, or when you do yours, do you print it on the material as you get it??
Thanks for the help...... and yes, I will post pic for you once it is done !!!

We only print on the the white banner material. It absorbs the ink up and gives is a more vibrant print. We did print on the titanium mesh but found that the ink scratched off. Plus we needed a backing so as not to harm the printer.
Coverking manufactures and prints all our shades for the our Jeep and Bronco products. The have 2 new EFI-VUTEk LED super wide format printers that print our shades. They are beasts!

Thatā€™s a great explanation. Iā€™ll tuck this away as an answer for the next question we get. Mike
Very similar to why the flag on one side of Air Force 1 (and all other gov a/c) looks ā€œbackwardsā€. Imagine it on a flagpole - the relative wind would orient it as shown.

Installed the JTops Bimini this weekend. Install was pretty straight forward. I was glad to find out that they had eliminated the extensions that cover the speaker boxes. I think the change is a much cleaner look. Luckily had a super nice day yesterday to install and give it some test miles before having to close it up for rain the rest of the week. I went with the titanium.
