I think it’s messaging to keep people who are finding out they have basically 0 shot at a 21 from dropping their reservation and buying a competitors vehicle. Those who waited a bit obviously weren’t as convinced or as eager as first day res holders. Obviously some are dropping out for design choices so they want to keep the hype going and convince people to stick around for the 22’s.
