So I’ve been undecided on what wheels to buy since I last posted a thread about them. I finally was ready to pull the trigger and almost ordered a set of Lock Off Road Krawlers in the machined finish. Sadly they only have 4 available and I need 5.

They offered me a set of 5 in black or a set of Lock Off Road Lunatic wheels in machined finish.

What should I do? Both have a -12 offset. I’m currently on stock Sasquatch tire and wheels.

All nice looking wheels. But... It doesn't look like the valve stem is protected. The factory wheels give some protection, especially the beadlock wheels.

I hadn’t considered that. 🤔 Anything you would recommend instead?

For the price of those you could take a look at several other manufacturers.
Method makes some great looking wheels, As does Raceline and BlackRock.
The Black Rock Cage seems to be similar in style to what you are looking at.

Not sure I'd worry about the valve stem. There are a lot of aftermarket rims that have no better protection than the Locks.

Curious about these rims. Are the outside ring removable?

I don't see an option on the pole for none of the above. Fake beadlocks are silly. I would look at a better wheel. Especially if they don't have exactly what you wanted.

I didn't either until I watched a video by theroadchoseme. In that video he discusses equipment and how he has his Jeep set up. It's one of the videos where he talks about driving around Africa.

This is a video he made before he went to Africa. He talks about valve stem protection at roughly 10:20.

I found some Raceline 232 Monster wheels on Marketplace. $1300 for a set of 4. They are true beadlocks. I’d have to get the spare but I thought it was a hell of a deal. Thoughts? 🤔

They look similar to Fuel Coverts which I have liked. At first glance I thought they were hideous but they grew on me a little bit. 😅

I don’t think it’s removable. I believe it’s all one piece.

Yeah the race lines are really great wheels. Pretty strong as far as I know. I would only get beadlocks if you need them and are going to use them. Otherwise just added complexity and weight. They do require added maintenance if used as beadlocks so that's definitely something to think about. If you aren't using them off-road could consider keeping your stock spare and running a cover. I wouldn't do it but if it helps with calls it wouldn't hurt anything. Depending on what tire size you are running.

Can you explain more about the added maintenance? We do light off roading I guess but trying to go more often now and have plans to do more big Bronco events in the near future. I have stock Sasquatch so I don’t know if I need a lift or anything by putting on different offset wheels.

Hey, I was going with the Krawlers in machined but went with the Black Rhino Primm (0 offset) instead for my Black Diamond Sasquatch a few days ago. Check eBay they still has a few single machined Krawlers available for sale.
