I now have about ~2k miles on my Bronco (2.7/Badlands) and recently noticed a very low (at least to me) squeal when I am at low speeds. This only seems to happen if I have been driving for a while. If I just drive around after it has been sitting for a while, the noise is not immediately there. I can put it in neutral and rev the engine, the noise is not there. It just is present when moving, and may not necessarily only be when it is slow, that is just the time where I hear it.

You can easily hear it in the video, the noise is not specifically coming from the left side, I just had the phone out the window to capture the noise.

Any help would be apprecriated, I only want to go to the dealer if I have to.

Sounds like a small rock stuck between the rotor and the backing plate/heat shield.

Check for the loose hose clamp problem or the harness rubbing on the belt/pully problem.

Sounds like a trip to the dealer is in your future. Sorry.

Belts would always be moving right? This stops when the vehicle stops.

Possibly Brake rotor/low pad gauge could be hitting wierd or
Wheel bearings.

Just an update. I went under and pulled on each brake shield a bit, nothing seemed abnormal from what I could tell. The same day I took it off-road and I have not heard the noise since. Now it has been about 4 weeks. I have no idea what it was or what exactly fixed it.

Thanks for the update. This happened to me in my ranger. I got a tiny rock stuck in my rotor never did find it but the noise went away. I noticed mine made more noise when I was turning.

I had this issue as well, but on a 2.3L. I only noticed the sound when I was turning into the neighborhood, but it went away on its own after a week or so.
