Well if you plan to swap to a M210 front differential be aware you will have to come to a damn near stop to go into 4Hi. This is a huge let down as you no longer can be driving along and go oh I need 4wd.

This has me rethinking adding back in my front disconnect so I can hit 4hi when I need it. Absolute disappointment in Ford Performance for thinking this was acceptable.

pretty sure my badlands is already equipped with the M210 and
i'm not required to slow down when going from 2H and 4A and back.

haven't tried going back and forth 2H to 4H at speed yet.

Don’t think you can go from 2H to 4L/4H. You can only go back and forth between 2H and 4A.

Incorrect - you can switch between 2H and 4H even at highways speeds. It's only to 4L you need Neutral.

I wouldn't think its a FAD issue, nonFAD axles allow shifts at speed. Seems like the control module thinks you're trying for low range, software not hardware?

Seems like it should be fine. Maybe you need to reprogram or trick the computer into thinking it's ok? Otherwise don't see why the computer cares. The big question mark on customizing the Bronco is the computer, and for instance the "irreplaceable" sway bar disco. Should the programming be better?

I have the 4A but can freely switch between all options except 4L at any speed I want.

So don't know if it is the t-case? Do you have the Full time one (4A)?
