Install the base here, one on the left and one on the right, with double-sided tape on the back of the base

Align the grooves at both ends of the main rod with the original car screws

there are springs at both ends, shrink the springs when installing, and after the original car screws are inserted into the grooves at both ends, the springs at both ends are stretched outward to complete the fixation.

Looks great but if someone wanted to get in all they would need is a knife. Instead of fabric maybe use metal that can slide I seen them for pick ups not sure if it would work though

I am using it to keep non-valuables from flying out of the back. It is not a security feature by any means but nice, non permanent solution for not having to empty everything out when I want to put the top down.

It's really not for security -- except out of sight, out of mind. Anyone with a knife can break into any soft-top Bronco. Actually you don't even need a knife. LOL.

But I would like it if the rear door had to be opened to easily retract the cover.

Couldn’t wait any longer as I wanted a cover before vacation next week. Bought one off Amazon by SNA. Looks very similar. Easy install. At least it’ll be harder to see in the cargo area now.

The truck is in transit and will arrive on Amazon in a few days, those who are not in a hurry can wait, I will offer a more affordable price, the version in this thread will not be for sale beacuse it just fit soft top, so I changed the way the main pole is fixed, it will now work for both hard and soft tops
