But what I really want is a mounting solution that includes some sort of quick removal option AND let's these be positioned to that the outside edge is flush with the fender flare. (Rather than sticking out past the non-Sas flares.) I'd pay extra for that.

Agreed. I don't mind buying the full set if I can get them to mount flush with the edge of flares and quickly removable for the trail.

To be clear, will these fit with the factory Wildtrak side steps? Pretty sure thats what you mean by tube steps but just want to be sure. Also, would vote for fronts only and plain (no mountains) if that is a possibility.

I have the same Black Diamond as in your picture but you have the rock rails removed. All the others on the market you have to cut a hole in the flap. Will this work with the rock rails ? Do they just bump right up to the rockrail without having to cut a hole ?

Yeah, the rock rails stick out further up front than the steps in the pictures.. would like to see how that works.
