Hello 6G’ers with Manual Tanny
Anybody have trouble fitting you foot onto the clutch peddle?
The tip of my boot scratches the wires/harnesses up there.
Any solutions?

Slide the seat more to the rear and use the ball of your foot to depress the clutch pedal.

Thanks, will try that!
I was thinking of pushing the wires further up so as to not scratch all my shoes at the toe?
I’m used to a manual Defender where no scratches just water running down your leg when it rains

Same thing here when I wear boots. They’re not even big boots. It’s totally fine in shoes, so I’m training myself to keep my foot lower.

My 6' 3" husband has driven my Bronco maybe 3 times since I got it a month ago, he says the pedals are too close together and his foot gets stuck under the brake when he presses the clutch. I blame the steel toed work shoes, he used to drive a manual Chevette and I guarantee that had less foot room in it. I think its a matter of adjusting the steering column and seat until you're in just the right position. We had just picked it up the night before and it had maybe 10 miles on the odometer the first time he drove it and he hated it, but the steering column was pushed all the way up into the dash, much better after adjusting that
