I have talked myself into getting a 3 pedal Bronco.

Not because Mansquatch as I am up in the air about paying more to wait longer but because there will be no more.

How many new internal combustion engine vehicles will major automakers debute? How many of those will have a stick?

F150, Mach-E, Tesla, Rivian, Hummer. The future is direct drive electric.

Bronco may well be one of the last American made vehicles to come factory with a clutch pedal.

Even a hybrid with direct drive would probably out perform a most IC motors because of instant low end torque.

Am I wrong?

Ford built a electric mustang with a manual trans. People loved it. I feel the there is a possability that most will be direct drive but there may be a few performance variant of vehicles with a stick, just because of the fun of it. But not many and not for a low end price.

Sadly, but most likely true and this is another reason why I hope that FoMoCo will offer the 2.7L w/MT for 2022.

(Please... don't burst my bubble! Let me dream for a little while longer, as I'm full aware that it's a Very Slim Chance of happening....)

Really pleasantly surprised that the Bronco has a manual and yes, I'll be ordering mine that way. The future looks bleak for manuals for all the reasons the arguments state except for feeling connected or being somewhat in charge of the driving experience. In a couple of generations people won't know the rumbled idle or ripping scream of an ICE outside of seeing one in a movie or maybe a museum or car show.
