They’re not released yet, I work at a stereo shop and was looking at them for myself only to see a $1000 price tag so I called Metra to see if that was right or if it was a typo they told me the price isn’t correct and that they’re still a few months out. I asked for an official price but he had nothing for me

Interesting, I think I like the grill on these better than the other options. I kind of like a factory look, and the Mabett don't quite look right to me.

Any update?
I Google the part number nearly everyday since the announcement at last year's SEMA. Maybe this year's SEMA they will launch. I've been on the verge of ordering the Mabbett pods but their speaker grills look more like mufflers.
You can can check out the SSV pods. I think you use the grills that come with whatever speaker you choose.
This is like waiting for JL Stealthbox all over again….
