For a daily driver in any hot environment. After driving an hour with ac on max, get where I’m going and back and butt are soaked with sweat. Mgv doesn’t breathe at all (that’s it’s job, to not breathe). For having fun in the dirt it’s great to be able to easily clean.

To clarify, I'm not talking about it getting hot in the sun. I'm talking about it being hot while sitting on it, you sweating, and the sweat having no where to go.

For daily driver it sucks.
That’s all.
Gonna go order some seat covers now.

Maybe try remote start to get the interior cool before entry? I can't imagine leather would be any different in the Texas heat

I live in southern Florida and I don’t have any issues with the MGV even with the top down and/doors off. My windows are tinted and I have a Bimini top but that only helps so much

I have the leather trimmed seats and I haven't noticed an abnormal amount of swampiness. That being said I frequently leave the windows cracked to reduce the oven effect of a closed car. Only on occasion have I used the remote start to cool the car.

I hear these will make your seats more comfortable...

I do miss my ventilated seats that I had on my previous vehicle. However, I understand why the Bronco doesn't have them and I'm not losing sleep over it. But they were nice!

I have 7MT. No remote start.
maybe use the remote window roll down feature (hold unlock for 5 seconds) to let the car air out before getting in?

a good ceramic tint on the windows and windshield will also help keep some heat out of the vehicle, it's done a decent job on ours up here in IL but we dont get nearly as hot as TX

They unironically do work amazing, I put up with the ugly because it keeps the swamp ass away.

Hmm... You're much older than I anticipated you to be. Want to meet at iHop for a 3:30 pm dinner?

The Bimini mesh shade helps a ton for sure 👍

Anyone living in Texas should have known you don’t do MGV or even leather, especially in a vehicle that goes topless. That’s why I went cloth in mine in Arizona, and it’s perfect.

Even white MGV on boat seats in the Midwest gets too hot to touch on a sunny day.

i have them here in MN and we don't get Texas temps much but we get tons of humidity. i've had mine out on several 90* days with humidity levels over 80% and with A/C on they are just fine. i sweat abnormally too after a surgery i had done. i do have tint(35%) and i use a sun shade on the windshield when its hot out which helped a ton. When i have the top off i have a gearshade up.
