MIC 4-door weather stripping issue???

Is this normal on 4-door MIC tops? There is a missing chunk (approximately two inches) on the front drivers side & front passenger's side MIC top panel. Another four door that was on the lot at the time I took delivery had the same missing chunk on both panels & a 4-door on the lot now is in the same condition. It seems odd that this would be an issue with all three rigs being the same, however it seems even more odd that I haven’t heard anything about this eyesore over the past year if it was standard. Everyone else with 4-door MICS look the same?

Yes that is normal and actually an “improvement” from the early version, which didn’t include the weird bug keeper outer sponge stuff.

That one looks better than mine, which has a huge wind noise creating gap.
