All the spec sheets have the 2-door HT/4-door ST as standard. That seems backwards to me on intended demographics. Was poking around Ford and see this....

Maybe that's one of the ways they're keeping the price down on the 2D.
I would probably want both the modular hard top and a soft top... I'll have to see the HT in person to make a choice. If it's flexible and easy enough I could maybe do without a soft top.

Interesting. If that's the case my Bronco cost just went up by a bit; maybe soft tops have gotten better recently but I've ridden in a couple Wranglers with soft tops (a '99 and an '04) and the wind noise / flapping of the soft top was completely unbearable. I'm only really interested in the hard top.
Wtf I thought hard top was standered on the 2 door it was when I put my resrve in anyways. I’m already at 37505 with my black diamond and still didn’t add auto trans yet and 2.7. I hope the hard top is still standered on the 2 door
Soft top is useless to me in my opinion. Bad in winter and easy for anyone to slice open no thanks. The genius’s at ford should have made hard top standered on both and soft top optional for people that want it

Anybody have a cache of the original page where it showed the 2 door was a hard top? That will help to see if they did indeed change the webpage wording.
On the website it says 2 door comes standered with carbonized gray hard top I think we’re good

Archive for a few days ago is the same as today; it's listed as hard top being standard on 2-door and soft standard on 4-door under "Exterior Features" but when you click on "Removable Top" and hit "Details" it says the opposite.
