Yeah, my VIN doesnt show up for the recall but I dont necessarily trust that they have released all VINs impacted.Haven't heard much lately on the batch of builds in this timeframe that needed airbag replacement, that could possibly be the issue or maybe a QC issue. Have you tried tweeting @Mike levine or @Ford Motor Company?
I made a Twitter account just to bug them and I've gotten no reply. If Ford paid me for all the time I've tried to find answers to this fiasco they would owe me thousands at this point.
My dealer is 3 hrs away but I think I'm going to have to just bite the bullet and physically go like you say because emails and phone calls aren't getting any results. You need to walk into your dealer and not leave until they give you an answer... even if it's just looking it up in their Vehicle Visibility Report and giving you a copy.
Yes, I swapped to soft top expecting to get my Bronco sooner after Ford sent out the communication stating that this was the only way for unscheduled reservation holders to get scheduled for 21. My dad, whose reservation was the day after mine, decided to hold out for the MIC and his order has been scheduled for production. So he will more than likely get his 22 with MIC, before I get my 21 soft top.Wait you switched to a soft top and STILL don't have it?? That seems very odd.
I'll reiterate what I and @ZackDanger said earlier. You need you dealer to pull up a Vehicle Visibility Report.
The only thing I can think of is you were one of the Broncos that got hit with the airbag recall, but to my knowledge the airbag recalled units were built between July and mid-August... and you said you had a September blend date.
The vehicles that were just delivered at my dealer were all of the early MIC hard tops waiting for replacements.
