SAS was $5k. Was mandatory to get the advanced 4x4 so that is where the extra comes from, $2390 on a 2dr, $795 on a 4 dr. To each his own but I think it's worth it.
Don't forget the $1600 "we hate manual transmissions penalty" so you get to pay more.

Like some of the others here, I was able to get a 2022 Base from Granger with the 2.3L and auto, plus some other features for $32K and change. Added some OBX wheels and tires and Go Rhino steel bars to round it out, and feel fortunate.

4.46 gears are fine, especially since you have the low crawl gear available.
For small tires. I don't find the 4.70s to even be adequate for anything over 35. Looking back I'd rather have bought a base and put a 5.38 M210 in it.

Maybe in the looks dept, not the performance dept. Gear ratio, larger differential, lockers, and sway bar disconnect.
LOL.

I stand by my comment about 99 percent of performance.

Gear ratio? Find me a trail that I could have completed with 4.7 gears, but is impossible with 4.46 gears.

Larger differential? Find me a trail that I could have completed with a Dana 44, but is impossible with a Dana 35.

Lockers? Yeah, OK, I don’t have lockers. So I can’t do 1 percent of the trails. Big deal. Easily upgradable. On my 5G Bronco I put in a Detroit Locker in the rear and a TrueTrac in the front. This isn’t my first rodeo.

Sway bar disconnect? This one is hilarious. 3 minutes with basic hand tools and my sway bar is disconnected. Also sway bar disconnect is not part of Sasquatch.

Look, I’m not saying Sasquatch is bad, or not worth it. We all have Bronco’s we can be proud of. I certainly love mine and I have zero FOMO about not buying a higher trim.

This thread is about inexpensive $29K Bronco’s, I’ve got one and I love it. If I move to Moab or something, I will throw in a Dana 60 and the Advantek FDU, lockers, 5.38 gears, and have an insanely capable Bronco, and still be under $40K. But I don’t need that so I’ll keep it stock for now.

I never saw it as a good deal. Over a 20% increase in price. It was over 7 grand option on a $30k vehicle.

Bought mine at $30.5k delivered (added Aux and $295 paint color). At current prices of over $40k I'd have bought another Mustang instead.
The same argument could be made " X amount of dollars over $30k vehicle" for every trim and option. The First Edition received the same plastic interior as the Base. The same mis-matched MIC panels as the Base received. Sure there are certain features that are locked into the higher trims. But the cost to buy into those trims will be debated as to whether they are worth it. The Bronco at it's core is a $30k vehicle. People paying $65k for a WT have to ask themselves if it is really worth the $30k+ over the initial base entry price for what they receive. Of course that is one of the reasons given for why so many used WT are available on another thread. Buyers didn't qualify for financing or they realized the high price wasn't worth it.

So you think it's the UAW fault prices are high? Ford been pumping up prices for the past 3 years dramatically. Pocketing big money.
It's definitely the UAWs fault

Let's just say that's the truth, do you think that Ford will use the new UAW contracts as an excuse to lower prices or increase profit margins? It does not matter, Ford will not lower their profit margins and will use any plausible reason or opportunity to increase their profit margins.

There's no such thing as an MSRP on a used vehicle.
Mine was new with 32 miles on it when we bought new, who said anything about used?

Yeah I paid MSRP for mine, which was $28,500 plus $195 for my only option, the AUX switches, and the destination charge.
dealer honored MSRP for my reservation as well (base 2dr, manual trans, AUX switches only option); just over $31k after tax/title/registration. Same dealer gave me a set of BD take-off wheels/tires/tpms sensors for $400.

So very plain in comparison to others, but it's exactly what I wanted...

I picked up a base 2.3L auto, removable hoop steps (no other option) dealer stock March'23 for sticker of $35,630, I added the OBX grille ($100) and tires/wheels ($650)
I liked the base I lot, I sold a few months later, thinking I would reorder in green and the base ordering never materialized :(... I messed up bad...

I am so glad, I was able to order one it has everything I need, I just wanted the V6 and the hard top, and it worked out great. I feel for people who need an entry-level Bronco. It's too bad they quit building them.

If the base was still available, that would be (10) available models...that would be crazy IMHO.
With the addition of the latest Tremor package, the F150 only has (8).
I am the guy who MUST kick tires prior to buying...still amazed I pulled the trigger sight unseen, even with the walk away thing.
Happily, I got out of my comfort zone for once and saved some $ in the process.
